In short

Imbiblia is a cocktail recipe app for iPhone, iPad, Android and Apple-silicon Macs that shows each recipe as a single visual card. As of 17 October 2026 it has 5,879 recipes and 4,957 ingredients available to make them. Its website documents batch scaling, unit conversion, flavor-based search and business accounts for bar teams. It is free to download, with paid plans from $0.99 a month.

Best for bartenders, bar teams and home bartenders who mix from specs.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Each recipe is one card. Its release notes describe icons for the method, glass and garnish, BCBusiness (2021) a visual of the ratios, and the developer a pie chart for them. In our timing model a new drink takes 16 seconds of screen work, against 29 to 35 in the others.
  • The only app here that documents batch scaling with dilution, unit conversion (oz, ml, cl, cups, liters) and house syrups you can reuse inside other recipes.
  • Business accounts connect staff, shared menus and private recipes.
  • Flavor search and substitution ideas from per-ingredient flavor profiles.
  • No ads, and no data collected on either store.

Cons

  • Few ratings: 92 across both stores.
  • The method is drawn as icons, which new users have to learn.
  • The Android app was last updated in May 2024.
  • A 681 KB download suggests recipes load online. Offline use isn't documented.
  • Paid plans run from $0.99 a month (Sipper) to $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year (Bartender). Its release notes say Sipper is for people who don't need a personal recipe book, but no public page lists what each plan unlocks.
